first_imgPICTURE SPECIAL: A group of hardy souls from Donegal went to ‘Hell and Back’ in aid of the Donegal Hospice.The sun was shining in Sligo last Saturday as FORTY-FIVE participants from Donegal embarked on “Irelands’ toughest mental and physical endurance challenge” in aid of the Donegal Hospice. A 12km course riddled with obstacles including barbed wire crawls, log-carrying hill climbs, 10 foot walls, electric fence gauntlets, a sniper alley and a never ending amount of mud and freezing water!The Donegal Devils took on this challenge with admirable enthusiasm and proudly wore their Donegal Hospice t-shirts throughout.Specsavers Letterkenny would like to extend a massive thank you and congratulations to everybody who took on this challenge for such a great cause.You should all be very proud of yourselves!
